Thankful!

This Thanksgiving, we had plenty to be thankful for. We are thankful for each other, even though we're temporarily separated by distance (Candice is doing a rotation at A.I. duPont Children's Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware!). We are thankful for our families, though we can't be close to them. We are thankful for our friends, who are our support in our home away from home, especially Megha and Ravish, who provided great company for our Thanksgiving meal. We are thankful for our health, our yummy turkey (I think we got this recipe down!), and on this particular Thanksgiving, we are thankful for a gift from Mama and Papa Florentino to help us get a new set of wheels for Mike! Needless to say, it's quite the leap from his Honda Civic.
