Thanks to Mama and Papa Florentino, Candice and Mike got a chance to get away from working and residency to go to somewhere relaxing and rejuvenating. Candice had yet to see Niagara Falls, which has been on her "Vacation Wish List" since she was a little girl (no real reason why).
We stayed on the Canadian side, which offers the most spectacular views, but to have a real appreciation for the velocity of the falls, the American side is the place to be.
We stayed at the Fallsview Hilton, complete with a jacuzzi in the room that overlooked both waterfalls, ate at a churrascuria called 'Brasa' (we love these Brazilian cuts of meat ever since eating at Fogo de Chao in Chi-Town), rode Maid of the Mist, and as if that didn't get us soaked enough, walked around in the American Falls (Cave of the Winds).
